MSAGroup at DBMC 2026 in Montreal
From July 20-24, 2026, Montreal hosted the 17th International Conference on the Durability of Building Materials and Components (DBMC 2026), one of the leading international events dedicated to the durability of building materials and structures, held under the auspices of RILEM.
During the conference, the MSAGroup team presented the results of their research:
🎤 Joanna Styczeń delivered an oral presentation entitled "Role of Si/Al Ratio in Synthetic Zeolites from Fly Ash on the Hygro-Mechanical and Durability Properties of Cement-Based Materials" also served as the Chair of the scientific session "Mortars & Finishes."
📌 During the poster session, MSAGroup researchers presented the results of the following research projects:
🔹 Martyna Janek – Feasibility of Using Carbon-Rich Fly Ash as a Supplementary Cementitious Material: UMO-2022/45/B/NZ9/02018
🔹 Wojciech Franus – Valorization of Coal Mining Fly Ash for Sustainable Cement Mortars: Mechanical Properties and Durability Assessment: UMO-2022/45/B/NZ9/02018
🔹 Agnieszka Woszuk – Green Pavement Solutions: Synergistic Zeolite–Silane Bifunctional Foaming Additives for Enhanced Asphalt Durability: UMO-2024/53/B/ST8/0314
🔹 Franus Małgorzata – Durability and Mechanical Properties of Lightweight Aggregates from Coal Combustion By-Products: NdS-II/SP/0173/2024/01
🔹 Szymon Malinowski – Polymer Nanofibers as an Innovative Approach to Enhance the Durability of Asphalt Pavements: FD-20/IL-4/034
