New PhD in MSAGroup!

On November 27th, 2024, Michał Wróbel successfully
defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Water and frost resistance of
asphalt mixtures produced with zeolite foamed bitumen technology”. On the same
day, the Council of the Scientific Discipline of Civil Engineering, Geodesy and
Transport of Lublin University of Technology awarded him the doctor of engineering and technical
sciences degree. The
dissertation’s supervisor was prof. Wojciech Franus. The reviewers of the
dissertation were prof. Anna Chomicz-Kowalska (Kielce University of
Technology), prof. Wladyslaw Gardziejczyk (Białystok University of Technology)
and prof. Marek Pszczoła (Gdańsk University of Technology). Michał’s
dissertation is result of a NCBiR LIDER research entitled “Application of
zeolite functional structures for the production of asphalt mixtures in the
process of bitumen foaming” led by dr Agnieszka Woszuk.
