Meeting of the ISKRA project team

On 9 May 2023, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Lublin University of Technology, the first meeting of research teams from the Bialystok University of Technology (under the leadership of Prof W. Gardziejczyk), the Rzeszów University of Technology (under the leadership of Prof T. Siwowski) and the Lublin University of Technology (under the leadership of Dr A. Woszuk, which together with Dr Sz. Malinowski, Dr R. Panek and M.Sc. M. Wróbel represent our MSAGroup research team) took place. The inter-university project entitled “Mineral composites as a component of durable, safe asphalt pavements reducing negative environmental impacts” will be financed by the Ministry of Education and Science within contracted task “Via Carpatia Technical Universities Network named after Republic of Poland President Lech Kaczyński”. At the meeting, the research teams discussed details of common scientific activities covering issues related to the development of technology for the production of durable mineral-asphalt mixes at reduced technological temperatures using mineral composites. The meeting was a great occasion to present the process of foaming asphalt binders with zeolite materials and to initiate a long-term, fruitful scientific cooperation.
