Conference presentation time is behind us!!!

The vacation period in our team was
marked by active participation in conferences, which are a great opportunity to
exchange experiences, present the research results and make new contacts.

In July, Wojtek, Rafal and Jarek
participated in the 20th International Zeolite Conference, Valencia (Spain),
where they presented results on the use of mesoporous silica materials in the
production of cement matrix composites and fly ash zeolites for gas capture and
storage.

In August, Agnieszka took part in International
Conference on Sustainable Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Rethymno
(Greece) presenting research related to the influence of rejuvenating agents
addition on the properties of zeolite-foamed asphalt.

September was the month of two important national conferences: 64th Scientific Congress of the Polish Chemical Society in Lublin and Micropollution in the Human Environment in Czestochowa. The former was attended by Ewelina, Wojtek and Szymon, who presented research related to: characterization of electrokinetic properties of zeolites and zeolite-carbon composites, removal of uranium on zeolites and application of biopolymers for modification of asphalt. In Czestochowa, Lidia and Monika presented the research on pharmaceuticals removal on zeolites and mesoporous silica materials modified with β-cyclodextrin.

All presentations were the result of research projects we are currently working on.
