Congratulations Lidia!

Lidia got the financial support within National Science Centre in MINIATURA 2 for her research competition (2018/02/X/ST5/01742). The research works will concern the development of conditions for the synthesis of zeolite-carbon composite materials from high-carbon fly ashes, their characteristics, as well as the sorption properties towards petroleum substances. The proposed method of synthesis of zeolite-carbon composites perfectly fits to the idea of sustainable development associated with the use of waste materials, whose storage is burdensome for the natural environment. In addition, this action indicates  potential directions of  high-carbon fly ash application , which chemical composition makes it useless for commercial utilization in construction industry. Total amount of financial support is 46 200 PLN and the project will be realized in 2019. Congratulations Lidia!
