Participation in Concrete Microscopy Course

On 7-10.06.2022, members of our #MSAGroup research team, Martyna and Rafał, participated in the Concrete Microscopy Course held at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Under the guidance of specialists in the field of concrete microscopy, they were able to deepen their knowledge of optical and electron microscopic characterization of cement and reaction products occurring during the maturation of cement composites. What is more, as part of the practical sessions, they were familiarized with techniques for sample preparation and analysis of obtained results. The knowledge gained during the course will certainly be used in the future work of our team members.
