Third won research project in 2022 for MSAGroup

We will improve the durability of asphalt road surfaces Under the 1st INNOGLOBO program organized by the Polish National Centre for Research and Development. The project leader is Szymon Malinowski, and the main R&D team involves Agnieszka Woszuk and Wojtek Franus. The project will be carried out in cooperation with scientists from the Institute of Physics in Zagreb, Croatia, led by Niksa Krustolović. The aim of the project is to design modern bifunctional additives – zeolite/metal oxide nanoparticles, which will reduce the operating temperature of mineral-asphalt mixtures production. These mixtures will also be characterized by increased resistance to destructive environmental factors. More durable road surfaces mean less greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, savings in local governments budgets and enhanced comfort for users.
