WOJCIECH FRANUS – NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR REUSE OF FLY ASH
Wojciech Franus appeared in the magazine “Rzecz o Innowacjach”. This magazine is the medium of first choice for innovators and the world of science. The topics discussed in the journal are devoted to innovative projects and investments leading to intelligent development.
The article is devoted to new possibilities of using fly ash. The FUNash consortium is developing a series of functionalized materials for applications in construction (special cements and biocements), agriculture (fertilizers, bio-fertilizers and bioinhibitors) and environmental engineering (sorbents and biopreparations for remediation of polluted waters, soils and gases). To this end, scientists will use fly ash – by-products resulting from the combustion of coal in the power industry.
